A unique work of art
On the main square you find the he representative Town Hall of Schwyz. The mural painting is an eye-catcher.
The mural painting dates from the 19th century, It was done to celebrate 600 years Swiss Confederation. The eye-catcher is the painting of the Battle of Morgarten and of Landamman Stauffacher on his horse. The rooms are still used. It is not open for public. The Town Hall Schwyz is described on plaque number 2 of the village tour.
