Simple life
The monastery of the order of Friars Minor Capuchin, who came to Schwyz in 1585, shows the simplicity of the Franciscans.
The monastery was built in the years 1616 – 1620 and has its church, domestic quarters, graveyard and a garden. Now a day the monastery is used as a nursing station for the elderly people of the monastery community.
